Nova? No Problem!

Janey Springs needs your help to open her safe in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! Learn how to get the Nova Shield, disable cameras, and get your reward.

Alright, so Janey's got a bit of a pickle on her hands. Deadlift's out of the picture, but she's gone and forgotten the combination to her safe. Classic Janey, right? She'll ask you to grab a special item called the Nova Shield from a nearby container, and then it's off to Regolith Range to sort this out.

First things first, you'll need to head back to that area with all the Scavs, the one with the big tower. Once you've cleared out the baddies, make your way down to ground level. Keep an eye out for a shutter-like door – there's a switch on the side that'll open it up. If you're struggling to spot it, it's right next to some graffiti that says "Scav." Inside this room, you've got a mission: disable all the cameras and the safe itself, all at the same time, using that Nova Shield you just picked up.

Now, the Scavs in here aren't just there to look pretty; they'll happily help deplete your shield, which is actually what you want. The best strategy is to take them all out first. Once the coast is clear, you'll want to move into the forcefield area just enough to hurt yourself and trigger your shield's nova. As soon as that nova goes off, you need to move quickly towards the center of the room, but don't stand in the absolute dead center. It might take a couple of tries to get the timing and positioning just right, but once you do, you can grab the goodies from the safe. After that, just head back to Janey to wrap things up and collect your rewards!
