Complete the 'To the Moon' mission in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Learn how to trick a defector, protect a container, and fire the Moonshot Cannon with this detailed walkthrough.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Find the mission at the Southeast Bounty Board in the Lunar Landing Station, the last main area. The mission is available near the end of 'Watch Your Step' and is level 23.
  2. 2
Talk to the Dahl soldier who wants to defect. He is located behind the bounty board.
  3. 3
He will refuse to be a test subject. Interact with the nearby console to trick him into the container, using an illusion of a pizza party.
  4. 4
    Follow the container upstairs.
  5. 5
Protect the container from incoming enemies that will appear from doors and on top of nearby buildings. The targeting modifier on the container has a health bar, and if it is destroyed, you will fail the mission.
  6. 6
Prioritize taking out enemies close to the container, then deal with those on rooftops.
  7. 7
Once the container is loaded, go to the marked console and interact with it to fire the Moonshot Cannon.
  8. 8
An optional objective will appear: check out the landing site in Triton Flats. Jump on top of the building to access it.
  9. 9
To get on top of the building, use the large container behind it. Drop down inside through a hole.
  10. 10
Dropping inside completes the optional objective. Loot the chests inside.
  11. 11
Return to the bounty board in Lunar Landing Station to finish the mission.
Tips
  • Keep an eye on your radar to spot approaching enemies.
  • Loot all chests inside the landing site building before returning to claim your reward.
