Alright, Commander! The Soviets are making a mess of America, and it's up to you to clean it up. This first mission, 'Loone Guardian,' throws you right into the thick of it in New York City. Your main goal is to push the Soviets out and secure Fort Bradley, but most importantly, you absolutely *have* to keep Agent Tanya safe. She's your ace in the hole here!

Walkthrough

    You'll start with a view of the Statue of Liberty under fire from Soviet Dreadnoughts. Those Patriot Missile Systems are struggling, so we need to act fast. Your first task is to get Tanya into the water. Guide her to the Dreadnoughts and have her plant C4 charges on them. Sink all three ships to clear the immediate threat.

    Once the ships are dealt with, it's time to get Tanya onto Manhattan Island. After she lands, you'll see some of our GIs fighting off Soviet Conscripts. Let Tanya handle the heavy lifting here – her pistol skills are incredible, and it's a great showcase of what she can do.

    After that initial skirmish, rally your GIs and hold your position for a moment. Another wave of Conscripts is inbound. Take them out, and then push forward down the road. You'll see plenty of destruction, but keep your eyes peeled.

    You'll encounter more GIs fighting the Soviets. The exact path can be a bit tricky to recall, but keep searching the city. You should find three Grizzly Battle Tanks that will give you a much-needed firepower boost.

    Lead Tanya past the MCBurgerKong and the Gas Station. You can bring the GIs along if you like, but it's not strictly necessary. The real prize is Fort Bradley.

    Head towards Fort Bradley. The fort can defend itself, but its AI isn't the sharpest when it comes to building defenses. Simply get Tanya inside the fort, and you'll gain control of the entire base.

    As soon as you take control of Fort Bradley, immediately move your Grizzly Battle Tanks to the fort. Start churning out GIs – aim for around 30. Once you have a decent force, send them and your tanks towards the enemy base.

    Use your Grizzlies to draw fire from the Sentry Guns, and then let your GIs flood into the Soviet base. Your objective is to destroy their V3 Rocket Launchers and then systematically demolish their structures. Target explosive barrels near buildings for quick damage, and finish off any remaining structures.

Wipe out their base, and you'll have successfully completed Mission 1!

Tips
  • Keep Tanya away from direct, sustained fire. While she's tough, she's not invincible, and losing her means failing the mission.
  • The Grizzly Battle Tanks are excellent for softening up defenses and dealing with enemy armor. Don't be afraid to use them to absorb some damage while your infantry advances.
  • Focus on destroying the V3s first. These long-range artillery pieces can cause a lot of damage to your forces if left unchecked.
