Alright, let's talk about a solid, no-nonsense way to hit your opponent hard and fast in Red Alert 2. We're calling it the 'Standard But Effective Rush'. It's all about overwhelming them with a massive ground force.

The Plan:

1. Build Your Core Force: Start by churning out about two dozen Apocalypse Tanks. These are your heavy hitters.
2. Add Support: Now, you need a LOT of support units. Build around forty Rhino Tanks to back up the Apocalypses. They might not be as tough, but they add crucial firepower.
3. Don't Forget the Dogs: While your tanks are rolling out, build some Attack Dogs. They're surprisingly effective against infantry and can really help clear out any pesky GIs that try to swarm your tanks. Let them come in behind the main tank force.
4. Consider Transports (Optional): If you're finding your tanks are too slow and you want to speed things up, you *could* use Rocketeers or IFVs to transport them. However, this means building about 13 transports, which adds a significant cost. For this standard rush, we're sticking to the ground-pounders.
5. Rally and Advance: Once you've got your massive army (around 64 tanks plus dogs), rally them all up. Let the Rhino Tanks hang back slightly behind the Apocalypse Tanks. We're aiming for a coordinated, overwhelming push.

Executing the Attack:

1. Push the Enemy Base: Slowly advance your combined force towards the enemy's base. Watch as their Prism Towers start firing!
2. Focus Fire: As soon as you engage, have all your tanks target the same enemy structure or unit. Concentrated fire means instant destruction for whatever you're shooting at.
3. Counter Air Attacks: Keep an eye out for enemy air units. Your Apocalypse Tanks can help fend these off, so make sure they're engaging any threats from the sky.
4. Demolish Defenses: Systematically take down their defensive structures one by one.
5. Assault Infantry: If they send out GIs, let your Attack Dogs handle them. They're perfect for shredding through large groups of infantry. If you forgot the dogs, you're in for a tougher fight against their foot soldiers.
6. Target Key Structures: Once the immediate defenses are down, focus on destroying their Construction Yard, War Factory, and Barracks. This cripples their ability to rebuild and reinforce.
7. Wipe Out Remaining Threats: After that, move on to their Battle Lab, any remaining defensive structures, superweapons, and finally, their Refinery (or Refineries). The Miners will be sitting ducks at this point.
8. Victory: If you've followed these steps, you should have won. You should have lost only a few tanks, especially if you brought those dogs along to deal with infantry. If for some reason you haven't won yet, gather your remaining tanks and move to finish off any last stragglers.
