Alright Commander, welcome to Mission 2: Eagle Dawn. General Vladimir's forces are making a serious push, and they've got their sights set on our Air Force Academy in Colorado. This place is super important, so we need to get it back before the Soviets dig in too deep. Luckily, you'll have Tanya on your side for this one, so let's get to it!

Main Objective: Recapture the Air Force Academy and destroy all Soviet forces in the area.

Walkthrough

First things first, get Tanya moving and let her do what she does best – kick some serious butt! You'll find a few Soviet Conscripts hanging around early on. It's a good idea to take them out right away to clear the path.

Keep an eye out for an Armor Crate nearby, and then look for another one tucked under the house next to it.

Soon, Lieutenant EVA will chime in with a message: a group of Rocketeers is inbound to help you out. Grab them and assign them to a hotkey on your keyboard for easy access.

Continue moving Tanya forward. You'll soon spot the Air Force Academy on your map. Your goal here is to clear out any resistance you encounter.

You'll reach a fork in the road. Head into the captured base area and take out the Conscript waiting there. You'll also notice some Flak Cannons – these are the main obstacle preventing your Rocketeers from taking down the Sentry Guns. Your Rocketeers are perfect for this job, so send them in to destroy the Flak Cannons.

With the Flak Cannons gone, move your Rocketeers in to take out the Sentry Guns.

Once that's done, you'll get some Engineers dropped off. Use them to capture any buildings that will help you secure the base.

After you've successfully captured the Air Force Academy, the aircraft will take off, giving you a crucial recon report on an enemy base to the east.

Now, this next part isn't a cakewalk. Don't just rush in with a few basic GIs! First, build about three extra Chrono Miners to boost your economy and then fortify your base.

To make things easier, we'll start by sending in some Harriers. Let them soften up key enemy structures. On easier difficulties, the Flak Cannons shouldn't pose too much of a threat to the planes, and they'll likely miss a lot.

Once you've destroyed some of their key buildings, you'll get some GIs deployed to your location. Use them to push forward and destroy anything left. If you still have planes ready, use them to take out any remaining Sentry Guns, which will give your GIs a much better chance of survival.

After you've successfully destroyed this eastern base, your mission will be complete! If the wave of GIs isn't quite enough to finish the job, send in some Grizzly Battle Tanks to mop up the remaining forces. Mission accomplished, Commander!
