If no alert is triggered, take the APC and drive west, paralleling the river towards the objective.

When aircraft appear, Strickland will inform you the hostage is safe and your "Limey" friend is back, with a massive military buildup at the mine.

If you encounter a large enemy convoy stopped ahead, you can avoid it by swimming across the river or fight through it.

For avoidance, exit the road, cross the river, and proceed through the wetlands to the waypoint (a marker on your map you've manually placed as a destination), staying cloaked to avoid the gunship.

For fighting, hit the red barrel with your rifle and use the missile launcher on the big truck when KPA scramble. Use remaining missiles on groups.

Use the cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) provided by mountain niches to finish off the approximately ten KPA in the convoy.

Conserve sniper ammo and watch for frag grenades while sheltering near the cliff.

Restock missiles and ammo near the convoy once the area is clear.

Commandeer an escort APC from the convoy and advance towards the walled cemetery when a fallen tree blocks the road.

Stay cloaked as you near the waypoint, and the helicopter gunship will move off.

Clear the area so a VTOL can land safely by searching for four KPA equipped with nanosuits, who usually filter in from surrounding hillsides.

Stay cloaked, near cover, and use binoculars to tag them, sweeping the area to place them on your radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked).

Engage them up close with shotgun blasts or from a distance with the Precision Rifle sporting the reflex sight.

Alternatively, take to the hills, get into cover, and use binoculars to locate and tag hostiles for sniping with the Precision Rifle.

Use scattered bush cover on hillsides overlooking the graveyard to snipe.

Be patient, as these enemies may hide, ambush, or flank you in pairs.

When you fire, cloak and change position to avoid direct encounters or to maneuver for close-quarters combat.

Stay cloaked or out of their sightline to recharge, keeping an eye on your radar and using binoculars to pinpoint them for sniping.

Loot corpses for Precision Rifle ammo.

Once the four nanosuited KPA are down, the VTOL will land. Enter it to end chapter three.

The VTOL lands, dropping you and the team into an area under heavy fire from North Korean anti-aircraft artillery and SAM missile batteries.

Take a SCAR assault rifle from a deceased Marine, keeping your shotgun.

Sprint south with the team.

Stock up at the shack, where there is a Precision Rifle; take its ammo clip but keep your SCAR assault rifle and shotgun.

Continue to an overlook to meet Lieutenant Bradley.

Your first task is to neutralize three AAA batteries shelling your position.

Activate armor and jump from the cliff near the briefing site to the road below.

Hide behind a boulder as an APC approaches from the north.

Destroy the APC with a rifle grenade from the SCAR assault rifle when it stops nearby.

Proceed north slowly on the roadway.

Locate the three-man KPA foot patrol moving toward the road on the right, near the “SPEED LIMIT 35” sign.

Cross the road, get into foliage, and use the silenced sniper-scoped SCAR to take them out from a distance once they reach the roadway.

If the takedowns were noisy, expect two latecomers to investigate.

After Psycho heads for the harbor, another APC will approach. Destroy it with a rifle grenade.

If earlier takedowns were stealthy, a two-man patrol will either be emerging onto the roadway or still on the dirt path on the left side of the road, within sight of the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).

If necessary, jump onto the low rock shelf on the left side of the road and ambush them to prevent them from flanking you.

The checkpoint ahead is manned by six KPA. Jump onto the slightly elevated area on the right side of the road.
