Gameplay:

The Power Blow and Power Launcher mechanics from the previous game have been removed. A new feature, the Break Gauge, is introduced, located beneath the life bar. It starts half-full in the first round and can be utilized in various ways using the Special button (or Hold + another button).

New mechanics include the Fatal Rush, which allows for a quick combo, and the Break Gauge, which can be used for powerful offensive or defensive maneuvers. Sweat effects, previously seen in Dead or Alive 5, return and are more pronounced in this installment.
