Alright, let's talk about the Mausoleum in Diablo II: Resurrected. It's one of those spots you might want to hit up for some decent farming, especially if you're looking for specific types of loot. Think of it as a smaller, more focused dungeon compared to some of the others.

How to Find the Mausoleum:

First things first, you need to get to the Burial Grounds. The easiest way to do this is to head to the Cold Plains Waypoint – that's the very first one you get in the game. From there, just follow the road. You'll see one path leading to the Stony Field, but you want the other one that takes you to the Burial Grounds. Once you're there, the Mausoleum is one of the two dungeons you'll find, right alongside the Crypt. It's a pretty small area, so you shouldn't have any trouble spotting it.

Denizens of the Mausoleum:

Now, who are you going to be fighting in there? Mostly undead, as you might expect. The Mausoleum is known for having the least enemy variety of any Level 85 area. You'll mainly encounter two types: Hungry Dead and Skeletons. The big thing to remember here is that both of these guys are immune to Lightning damage. So, if you're playing a character that relies heavily on lightning, like a Lightning Sorceress, Javelin Amazon, or Trap Assassin, you might want to reconsider farming here or at least have a solid backup plan. For everyone else, though, these guys are pretty slow and generally easy to deal with.

You'll find about 4-5 champion or unique monsters in the Mausoleum, plus one super chest. While the enemy count isn't super high, the area itself isn't huge, so it can feel a bit sparse. A nice bonus, though, is that Blood Raven, a super unique monster, hangs out just outside in the Burial Grounds. She's definitely worth taking down during your Mausoleum runs.

Best Characters to Farm the Mausoleum:

Because all the enemies are slow and lightning-immune, most characters can farm the Mausoleum without too much trouble. As mentioned, lightning-focused builds will struggle. Characters like the Hammerdin or Summon Necromancer might find the narrow spaces a bit annoying, but it's usually not a dealbreaker. Honestly, most players tend to move on to denser, more rewarding areas once their character gets strong enough.
