Worldstone Keep Levels & Denizens:

Worldstone Keep comprises Worldstone Keep Levels 1, 2, and 3, followed by the Throne of Destruction. Each level features a variety of monsters with specific immunities. In any single game, you will typically encounter 3-5 different enemy types per level, though some spawn together (e.g., Hierophants with Zealots, Flesh Spawners creating Flesh Beasts). Every type of immunity can be represented across these areas, with cold, lightning, fire, and poison immunes being common, while magic and physical immunes are rarer.

Worldstone Keep Level 1 Monsters: Black Lancer (Lightning immune), Fetid Defiler (Poison immune), Flesh Beast (Cold immune), Flesh Spawner (Cold immune), Ghoul Lord (Cold immune), Hierophant, Invader (Cold immune), Menace Worm (Cold immune), Soul Killer (Fire immune), Soul Killer Shaman (Fire immune), Unholy Corpse (Poison immune), Vile Witch (Cold immune), Zealot (Lightning immune).

Worldstone Keep Level 2 Monsters: Black Soul (Lightning, Poison immune), Cadaver (Poison immune), Fiend (Lightning immune), Frenzied Ice Spawn (Cold immune), Greater Hell Spawn (Cold immune), Horadrim Ancient (Magic immune), Horror Mage (Poison immune), Serpent Magus (Poison immune), Soul Killer (Fire immune), Steel Scarab (Lightning immune).

Worldstone Keep Level 3 Monsters: Anguish Worm (Cold immune), Blood Boss (Cold immune), Death Lord (Fire immune), Demon Sprite (Fire immune), Doom Knight (Fire immune), Fire Boar (Fire immune), Hell Temptress (Physical immune), Horror Mage (Lightning, Poison immune), Oblivion Knight (Cold immune), Rancid Defiler (Poison immune), Soul Killer (Fire immune), Soul Killer Shaman (Fire immune), Specter (Lightning, Poison immune), Storm Caster (Lightning immune).

Throne of Destruction Monsters: Assailant (Fire immune), Burning Soul (Lightning, Poison immune), Dark Lord (Cold immune), Death Lord (Fire immune), Doom Knight (Fire immune), Horadrim Ancient (Magic immune), Hell Witch (Cold immune), Oblivion Knight (Cold immune), Pit Lord (Fire immune), Serpent Magus (Poison immune), Undead Soul Killer (Poison immune).

Notable Enemies & Dangers:

  • Black Souls/Burning Souls can deal significant lightning damage if your resistance is low and you have less than 1,200 Life.
  • Serpent Magi can use charge attacks and Bonespears.
  • Horror Mages inflict poison damage.
  • Frenzied Ice Spawns are annoying as they do not drop loot.
  • Oblivion Knights can cast curses like Lower Resist or Amplify Damage, which is particularly dangerous in the Throne of Destruction alongside Burning Souls and Undead Soul Killers.

Super Uniques before Baal:

There are between 6-8 champion/unique mobs on each floor, plus 4-5 in the Throne of Destruction. You must fight five waves of Super Uniques before Baal:

  • Colenzo the Annihilator: Always Fire Enchanted and fire immune.
  • Achmel the Cursed: Always Poison Enchanted and immune to poison. Also immune to magic in Hell difficulty. Minions are immune to cold.
  • Bartuc the Bloody: Always Lightning Enchanted, highly resistant to lightning damage.
  • Ventar the Unholy: Always Extra Fast, highly resistant to fire and poison, and immune to poison in Hell difficulty.
  • Lister the Tormentor: Always has Spectral Hit, highly resistant to fire, cold, and poison, immune to fire in Hell difficulty.
Tips
  • A Sorceress can bypass troublesome foes with teleportation.
  • A Hammerdin with Enigma is a strong choice due to their effectiveness against Baal and minions, fewer magic immunes, and the ability to ignore enemies they cannot kill via teleportation. Blessed Hammer is not inhibited by the area's layout.
  • A well-equipped Wind Druid offers potent dual-damage capabilities.
  • A well-equipped Trap Assassin also has sufficient damage options to handle various immunities.
  • Worldstone Keep runs on Hell difficulty require good equipment and preparation.
