Complete Part 25 of Doom (2016), including the Hell Guard and Twin Hell Guards boss fights.
Walkthrough
- 1In the area with 4 big pillars, use the barrels and Unwilling enemies to work on the Wait for It Challenge.
- 2After pressing the switch, a fight begins with 3 Cacodaemons, 2 Hell Razers, Imps, 2 Spectres, 2 Hell Knights, and a Summoner.
- 3Grab the Auto-Map, pull the Classic Map Doom Lever, and grab the Yellow Skull.
- 4CLASSIC MAP 11.1 "Doom - House of Pain" is SECRET 11.3. Go back outside this room and down a hall to an area that looks funky on the map.
- 5This will trigger the teleporter to open, and you can take it to return to the central room you started in.
- 6On the opposite side, a new Teleporter has opened. This one will get you the Blue Skull.
- 7Go through the teleport for the next fight in the Four Platform Arena.
- 8Upon entering, 2 Mancubi spawn on 2 platforms (two Gauss Cannon Siege Mode blasts will take both of them). Then 3 Cacodaemons and Imps. Then some Revenants and a Hell Knight end this wave.
- 9The gates surrounding the Quad Powerup lift and 4 Revenants spawn, one on each side of the square. Then 2 Cyber-Mancubi and 2 Mancubi spawn, ending the fight.
- 10Take the Blue Skull. Teleport back to the Central Room.
- 11Use both Skulls and interact with the knobs behind each door to trigger the next battle.
- 123 Imps spawn in a reliable location.
- 132 Pinkies are next.
- 142 Revenants, a Hell Knight, and a Spectre make up the next wave.
- 15The final wave is 2 Hell Barons.
- 16After the fight, two staircases open up below the main area. Go there and drop into a small hallway with some health and another drop.
- 17When you stand up from the jump, there will be 3 Cacodaemons lurking around.
- 18Use BFG or (better) Gauss Cannon Siege Mode to get the "Two Mouths to Feed" Challenge.
- 19Jump onto the next platform, which has two large unlit torch/pillars on it.
- 20The next platform has just one torch/pillar. Peer carefully down from the edge to see a small island. There is a doll on it. This is SECRET 11.2, COLLECTIBLE 11.1 "Chainsaw Model, Tealguy".
- 21Continue hopping to the cave, where you will be greeted by a Mancubus.
- 22Don't forget to get ELITE GUARD 11.1, and there's some armor too.
- 23Continue along to some shotgun ammo and the last FIELD DRONE 11.1.
- 24Go up the stairs to where some big demons are duking it out: 2 Mancubi, some Revenants, Imps, and a Cacodaemon. Help them kill each other and kill the Hell Razers, 2 Cyber-Mancubi, and whatever else spawns. There's a BFG and a Haste Powerup.
- 25Get in good shape for the next fight.
- 26The same demons will spawn on each end of the Paired Hallway: 2 Hell Barons, 2 Mancubi, and 4 Spectres. There's quite a bit of ammo around, and ELITE GUARD 11.2.
- 27Exiting, 2 Cacodaemons will immediately stalk you; kill them with the rocket launcher.
- 28Walk down to the treasure trove with a big armor. This will trigger 2 Mancubi to spawn. Retreat back to the original area and use Rockets or Gauss Cannon. Once you kill a Mancubus, 2 Hell Barons will spawn. Gauss Cannon or BFG is recommended.
- 29Now, get SECRET 11.1. Look at the large statue/structure shaped like the head of a horned screaming demon. In its forehead, is a glowing pink rune symbol. Shoot it, and a weird cubic capsule will spit out of it and land next to you. This is COLLECTIBLE 11.2 "Gauss Cannon Model, Hazmatguy".
- 30Stock up for the two Boss Fights.
- 31Boss Fight 1: Hell Guard
- 32This fellow has a force field that protects him from everything, so you must time your shots for when the field is down. Most of his attacks give you an opening.
- 33His moves include: Club Attack (field is down as he attacks and right afterward), Charged Club Attack (similar, but damages everything in a radius), and Tri-Sphere Attack (can be attacked after blinking but before shooting, stunning him for a secondary attack).
- 34Midway through the fight, he gains new tricks: Spinning Flaming Spiral (avoid flames, then attackable for a long window) and Three Drum Waves (slow-moving wave that does a lot of damage).
- 35Toward the end, equip Dazed and Confused, as you have to Glory Kill him.
- 36Boss Fight 2: The Twin Hell Guards
- 37These guys act in concert. They lack the force-field.
- 38Their moves include: Bed of Fire (jump over long fireballs), Fire Tornado (avoid), and Sphere Attack (shoot it right after it finishes inflating to stun him).
- 39When one is stunned, you can often line them up to get double damage out.

- BFG or Gauss Cannon is recommended for the Hell Barons.
- Shoot the glowing pink rune symbol in the forehead of the large statue for SECRET 11.1.
- Time your shots carefully during the Hell Guard boss fight when his force field is down.
- The Tri-Sphere Attack from the Hell Guard can stun him for a bigger secondary attack.
- When one of the Twin Hell Guards is stunned, try to line them up for double damage.
