Alright, so you've made it to the land of Alefgard, the same place the very first Dragon Quest took place! You can totally land your ship and head east to Tantegel if you want, but honestly, I'd suggest sticking to the sea for a bit longer. The monsters out there give you way better gold for your buck, which you'll need for all the cool gear in Tantegel.

To get there, just follow the coast of Alefgard south, then head east. You'll see a bridge to your north – ignore that for now and keep following the water as it winds inland. When the water splits, take the northwest path. You'll spot two castles: the southern one is the Dragonlord's Castle, and the northern one is our destination, Tantegel.

Once you're inside Tantegel, you'll find a few important spots.

Quick heads-up: You'll need the Silver Key to get into the Draper's Shop.

First things first, find the green-clad guy to the west. He's going to ask you about the Sunken Treasure. Just say "Yes" to his first question. Then, chat with him again and this time answer "No." This little exchange is super important because it'll make a sparkle appear north of Rippleport, showing you exactly where that treasure is!

Next, look for an old man standing next to a pot. If you happen to get Cursed (which is a real pain!), this is the guy who can fix you right up. While you're there, don't forget to search the pot – you'll find a HOLY WATER inside!

Now, if you've got that Silver Key, head into the shop to the north. This is the Draper's Shop. The lady inside will ask if you're searching for the Celestial Skein. This item is key to crafting some really awesome armor. She'll point you towards the North Tower of the Dragon's Horns. Once she mentions it, a sparkle will appear in that tower, making it much easier to find the Skein.

Once you've done all that, you can leave Tantegel and Zoom back to Rippleport.
