Alright, so you've made it to Hargon's Castle, but the game's telling you you're not quite ready for the big bad yet. That's totally fine! This first visit is actually optional, and it's a great chance to snag a couple of cursed items. Don't worry, they're cursed, but you can sell 'em for some sweet gold later on. Definitely make sure you're Quick Saving regularly, especially since you might run into some nasty surprises like Kabooms, Thwacks, or Kamikazees. Oh, and don't forget to bring the Eye of Rubiss with you – it's pretty important for what's coming up.

To get here, start from Rendarak Shrine. Head west across the bridges, just keep going west until you spot a narrow, forested path heading northwest. Take that path and follow it south. You'll eventually hit some water, and if you look closely, you should see the Castle to the south. You can get there by heading southwest through the forest or southeast through the hills. Once you're south of the castle, look for a hilly path and head north through it to reach the entrance.

Now, you might be a bit confused when you first step inside. It looks like Midenhall Castle, and the King of Midenhall is there, praising Hargon. It's super jarring, right? How could everyone forget that Hargon killed the King of Moonbrooke and his guards? It feels like something's really off. Don't worry, this is just an illusion. Try using the Eye of Rubiss you brought with you. That should clear things up and reveal the *real* Hargon's Castle!
