Walkthrough

    From the Inn in Beran, head northeast. You'll need your Jailor's Key to open the door. Cast Safe Passage to make traversing the area easier, then head north through the Teleportal. You can chat with the guy upstairs if you like, but it's not essential. After that, go one square south of the Teleportal and head south to exit the area. Don't worry about the Gremlin to the northwest; he's got nothing important to say.

    Head west a bit until you encounter a flame blocking your path. You'll need the Eye of Rubiss to pass. Since you've likely acquired it by now, the flame will disappear, granting you partial access to the Cave to Rendarak. However, there's one more step before you can fully enter.

    Make your way to the northern part of the Poisonous Swamp. Go exactly 4 steps west into the swamp, then face north. Use the False Idol right there, and the Cave to Rendarak will finally open up for you. Enter the cave and prepare yourself!
