Maribel is a really important character in Dragon Quest VII! She's the daughter of the mayor of Pilchard Bay and also the Hero's childhood friend. You'll quickly notice she's a bit headstrong and tends to be very curious, always wanting to know what the Hero and Prince Kiefer are up to, especially when they're being secretive.

Think of her as the energetic friend who's always involved, sometimes a little too involved, in everyone's business. Her personality really adds a lot of life to the early parts of the game as you all set out on your grand adventure.
