Follow this Dragon Quest VII walkthrough to navigate the Hidden Pyramid, solve its puzzles, and collect the Eye Stones, Mouth Stone, Nose Stone, and Heart Stone to awaken the Earth Spirit.
Walkthrough
- 1Enter the Likeness and speak with the woman guarding the path. Use the Royal Key to open the door.
- 2Examine the markings on the ground for a clue. Speak with Sa’id if you need clarification.
- 3Take the stairs beyond the final marking and follow the path, picking up the Mimic Heart in a chest.
- 4Enter the pyramid and go west, following the path to stairs in the northeast.
- 5In the room with six coffins, close all coffins to make a pair of jewels (Eye Stones) appear.
- 6Take the Eye Stones and proceed south to the maze area.
- 7Navigate the maze by going west, north twice, west, north, west twice, south three times, and east once to reach the stairs.
- 8Follow the path until you see a large face to the north. Stand on the orange tiles until the mouth opens to get the Mouth Stone.
- 9Continue to a split in the path. Go downstairs first to find the Nose Stone.
- 10Return to the split and take the other path to find the Heart Stone.
- 11Use the Heart Stone in your inventory to receive the Ear Stones.
- 12Leave the Hidden Pyramid and take the teleportal back to Al-Balad.
- 13Go to the Oasis and give the old man the jewels to awaken the Earth Spirit and receive the Earth Amulet.
- 14Return to Queen Neferta at the Temple Palace.
- 15Head back down to the shrine and find two shiny bits on the ground: one in the northwest (Prayer Ring) and one in the southeast (Magic Water).
- 16Take the teleportal back to the Shrine of Mysteries.
Tips
- The maze area is straightforward and you won't get lost.
- The enemies in the Hidden Pyramid include: Blighted Bloater, Bloody Hand, Decayurion, Demon Deacon, Demon Thunderer, Dingbat, Emperor Slime, Gold Fryling, Hellstalker, and Vial Creature.
