Hey there, adventurer! Let's talk about some of the neat tricks and abilities you can pick up in Dreams of Aether – we call them "Utility Skills." They might not be flashy combat moves, but trust me, they'll make your journey through Aether so much smoother. Think of them as your trusty sidekicks! ### Riding Skills First up, getting around! You'll unlock various ways to travel faster and more efficiently. Some of these might be tied to specific character classes or achievements, so keep an eye out. For example, you might learn to ride a trusty Hog or even a majestic Red Draco. Each mount has its own charm and might even offer unique perks. The Wooden Airplane and Red Airplane are also great for hopping between continents, with the Red Airplane even cutting down travel time by 10 seconds! ### Link Skills These are super cool because they let you share bonuses between your characters. If you've got multiple characters in Dreams of Aether, you can link certain skills to give your other characters a boost. For instance, Invincible Belief can help you recover health, and it stacks up to 3 times if you have unique Explorer Warrior characters. Empirical Knowledge boosts your damage, stacking up to 3 times with Explorer Magicians. Adventurer's Curiosity gives you a Critical Rate bonus and a better chance at adding monsters to your collection, stacking with Explorer Bowmen. And don't forget Thief's Cunning, which helps you exploit weakened foes, and Pirate Blessing, which offers similar benefits. Remember, these often stack based on unique job characters you have in your world, so diversifying your characters can really pay off! There are other types of utility skills too, like Soul Weapon Skills, Equipment Skills, Threads of Fate Skills, and Profession Skills. We'll dive into those in more detail as you progress.
