Dream Aether, often called Aether, is the purest primordial energy, undetectable and without manifestation. It is theoretically capable of anything when used correctly. The Oracle Bracelet absorbs Aether from the atmosphere or dead bodies, compressing it into a usable form. Direct absorption is dangerous, as uncompressed Aether contains the memories and feelings of the deceased. The presence of more people and spiritually evolved creatures increases Aether density, creating a cycle of evolution. Civilizations eventually detect and utilize Aether.

Properties:

• Aether is attracted to itself.
• Centrifugally spun Aether moves inward.
• Atmospherically absorbed Aether is instantly replenished and retains its density.

Dream Aether is the primordial energy at the Universe's origin, considered infinite. It is the source of energy and matter. Higher Aether density increases the probability of energy and matter generation, leading to Big Bangs and new Universes. Aether density and entropy constantly increase due to self-renewal from an infinite source, attraction to existing Aether (especially around powerful beings), and attraction to brain activity, thoughts, and dreams. Solidified souls are theorized to be mini Aether sources.

Encoding:

Dream Aether must be encoded to be used. The bracelet's Encode ability transforms Aether into energy to enhance attributes like Strength, Agility, Constitution, Vitality, Intelligence, and Perception. The cost to Encode varies with volume; above 3 cubic meters, the price doubles, and above 6, it triples. For example, enchanting a 3 cubic meter unit with Sharpness Encoding costs 1 Aether point. Larger beings require more Aether, but those slightly exceeding volume limits are less efficient due to increased costs for minimal gains. Every body has an Aether capacity limit, comparable to a bottle filling with liquid. Exceeding the 100-point limit for humans leads to overfilling.

Grade:

Encoding has different grades. High-quality Encoding condenses Aether, making it occupy less space. Grade 1 is like gas, Grade 2 like liquid, and Grade 3 like solid. Each grade allows the body to hold 10 times more Aether and include more functions, such as passive properties comparable to Aether Skills. The Oracle offers 7 Grade 1 primary Encodings for free, but higher grades and additional functions are expensive. Grade 2 Strength Encoding costs 1,000 credits at the Oracle Store.

Examples of Encoding:

Although Aether is colorless, the Oracle assigns colors for simplicity: Red for Strength, orange for Agility, yellow for Constitution, green for Vitality, cyan for Intelligence, and indigo for Perception. The Oracle device uses more Aether to encode each energy based on color; one point of Aether for one point of Strength, two for Agility, etc.
