North Section

Guide your way through Eternal Strands' North Section, from the cliffside to Tenuto Village. Learn about inspecting scenery, finding items, and optional duets.

Alright, let's get moving through the North Section! First things first, you'll need to take out the enemy right in front of you. Once they're down, just head towards the cliff. Keep an eye out for a question mark that pops up over Polka's head – when you see that, press [A] to have her inspect the scenery. She'll chime in with some commentary about the ocean. After that, just keep pushing forward across the next bridge, taking out any enemies that get in your way. Before too long, a cutscene will kick in, giving you some more backstory on Polka.

Once the scene wraps up, look to the side of the road for a chest. Open it up to snag a Peach Cookie. Then, you'll need to deal with the Very Very Empties hanging around the area. After you've cleared them out, make your way up the hill – it'll lead you right into Tenuto Village.

TENUTO VILLAGE

Once you arrive in Tenuto Village, the first thing you should do is save your game at the Save Point located on the left. Take your time exploring the village; it's pretty peaceful, and chatting with the townsfolk can give you some insight into what's going on.

For your second playthrough: You'll find an NPC named Easygoing Flat near the entrance to Tenuto Village. If you talk to him, you can perform a duet. Aim for an A Rank during the duet, and you'll score yourself Score Piece 30. Also, head into the house right behind him – inside, you'll find a Fish Incense. There's also a trading event happening in that same house. Trade your Pot with the woman there, and she'll give you Goat Stew.

For your second playthrough: Go to the left side of Polka's house. You'll find a cat there. It might sound a bit odd, but you can actually perform a duet with this singing cat!

Now, head up the steps to your right and enter the house. You can find another Peach Cookie stashed away in one of the vases. After that, take the path on the left side of the village; it'll lead you to the flower field.
