BOSS: Captain Dolce, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant (4)

Master the Captain Dolce boss fight in Eternal Strands! Learn boss stats, weaknesses, phases, and get a winning strategy to take down Dolce and her lieutenants.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Captain Dolce — HP: 141,080, Recommended Level: 22
• First Lieutenant — HP: 23,520
• Second Lieutenant — HP: 28,220

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Lieutenants First
   The two lieutenants (brown-haired First Lieutenant, blonde Second Lieutenant) are dangerous and can heal themselves with Rising Power. They also have strong physical attacks like Splintering Soul and Cruel Cutlass. You need to defeat them before they become too much of a threat.
2. Phase 2: Captain Dolce
   Once the lieutenants are down, focus on Captain Dolce. She's a normal-sized human, making her very mobile and unpredictable. She can attack from long range with Dead Man's Tale (over 2300 damage!) and Burning Spindle, and also has Tempest Swirl. She can even heal herself with Ruthless!

Strategy:

• Item Preparation: Make sure your Item Set is stocked with Club Clovers, Angel Trumpets, and Floral Extracts. You'll need them.
• Dealing with Lieutenants: Use Salsa's Grand Slam or Shadow Silhouette, and Beat's Rapid Shooter from a distance to take them down. Frederic will likely need to focus on healing or attacking up close.
• Fighting Captain Dolce: Keep moving! Dolce is fast and can attack from behind, making blocking difficult. Beat is a good choice for attacking from a distance with Rapid Shooter and Fire Blast, and can use Power Smash if she gets close. Frederic can use Piu Grave and Coup de Grace, though their effectiveness might be limited. Salsa should use Shadow Silhouette to buff allies and then attack with Grand Slam.
• Positioning is Key: Don't clump your party together. Spreading out will help you avoid Dolce's wide-reaching attacks. Use your turns to reposition or even stand behind the swinging lanterns for cover.
• Healing: Polka's Earth Heal is a decent option if she's in the party. Frederic's Sacred Signature can be a last resort. Beat, despite his lower HP, can also act as a healer.
• Patience: This fight requires endurance. It's a challenging encounter, and it's even the first boss some players die to. Keep at it, and you'll eventually prevail.
• Rewards: Defeating Captain Dolce and her lieutenants earns you Pirate's Paper 1, Skull and Bones, and a Torn Umbrella.
