There are ten Treasure Hunts, also known as stashes, scattered throughout Hope County. These can be discovered through exploration or by receiving hints from NPCs. Each stash location features a note at a diamond marker that provides clues to the cache's whereabouts. All stashes contain three Perk Point Magazines and valuable loot, often including a locked safe, making them highly rewarding to pursue.

The Best Laid Plans (Treasure Hunt)

This Treasure Hunt stash is located at a bridge approximately 700 meters east of The Pantry outpost. Approaching the location will reveal the diamond-shaped marker on your map. Hostiles may be present near the site, and a boat patrols the river beneath the partially collapsed bridge. The note at the marker indicates that the bridge collapsed under the weight of a train, losing a year's worth of supplies. The grapple ability is required to retrieve this stash. A marker will appear at a nearby train car. Enter or climb onto the train car and use the grapple to ascend through a gap into a hanging car, reaching a platform. Grapple up the outside of the dangling car, swing to detach onto a small platform, move onto an I-beam, and grapple across the gap to the bridge deck. Climb over crates and the train car, then jump down onto the wreckage. Grapple and swing across another gap; a falling column will allow you to grapple up onto the structure. Walk along the I-beam and grapple to an overhanging car, transfer to a protruding boom, and then to the dangling car. Enter the car to find the stash, which includes three Perk Point Magazines, numerous resources, and a safe.

Burning Souls (Treasure Hunt)

This treasure stash is located about 1,200 meters east of The Pantry outpost, at Eden's Pyre. Be cautious of wolf packs and a potential bear in the area. The note is found on a boulder and describes how a group of Chosen were ambushed and killed by Highwaymen. The note requests that the bodies be placed on the pyre and committed to the flame. Locate the pyre at the marker and find and toss two nearby bodies into the pit. Three additional bodies need to be committed to the flame; one is inside a nearby structure, and another is on a platform west of the pyre. The fifth body is on a higher platform overlooking the pyre. Toss it down, and once all five bodies are in the pit, toss a Molotov into the pit to reveal the stash in a shallow cave behind the pyre.

For Whom the Bear Tolls (Treasure Hunt)

This Treasure Hunt is located at a church about 700 meters north-northwest of Prosperity. This stash may be mentioned by an NPC at the "!" marker in Prosperity after meeting Kim. It is recommended to bring Carmina along for this mission. Approach the site stealthily to avoid detection and prevent patrols from joining the fight. Eliminate the three Highwaymen at the site, two of whom are on the church roof. The note at the marker indicates the stash is in the crypt beneath the church. The crypt door is locked, and Fowler's bear has the key. After gathering resources, climb onto the roof where another note in the belfry states that the bear will appear if the bell is rung. Ring the bell to attract the bear, which must be defeated to obtain the key. A shotgun is helpful, but hit-and-run tactics can also be effective. Be aware that passing hostiles may investigate the commotion. Take Fowler's Crypt Key and find an entry hole just west of the church. Use the key to open the door and access the stash, which contains numerous items, three Perk Point Magazines, and a locked safe with titanium. It is advised to use Perk Points to obtain the Heavily Armed perk. Alternatively, use explosives or return later with a Repair Torch to open the safe.

Go With the Flow (Treasure Hunt)

The marker for this Treasure Hunt will be located about 400 meters south of the Watering Hole outpost, south of Nick Rye's marker if it is visible on the map. Be aware of a wolf pack in the vicinity. Enter the cave where a prepper was setting up camp. Watch for a wolf entering the cave as you exit to ride a zipline down to a riverside campsite. Take the River Stash Key and read the note.
