Ready to upgrade Prosperity to Level 2 in Far Cry New Dawn? Learn what specialists you need and how to gather the ethanol for the next main mission.

Alright, so you've teamed up with Joseph and now it's time to get your base, Prosperity, up to Level 2. To kick off the next main mission, you'll need to have recruited all five Specialists and made nine additional facility upgrades since your last Prosperity upgrade.

If you're missing any Specialists, you'll need to track them down. The crew includes Bean, Selene, Nick Rye, Sharky Boshaw, and Grace Armstrong. Make sure all five are on board!

Now, about those facility upgrades – you'll need a good chunk of ethanol to get them done. The best way to farm ethanol is by taking over outposts. You'll need to scavenge them to gather enough to afford those pricier upgrades. Don't forget, you can also find ethanol and other resources from enemy supply drops or by hijacking tankers.

Once you've got the ethanol and made those nine facility upgrades (including upgrading your Workbench, Infirmary, Training Camp, Expeditions, and Explosives twice each), you'll be able to upgrade Prosperity to Level 3. The Healing Garden is a great one to focus on, as it'll be upgraded twice. After that, chat with Rush inside the lodge to officially upgrade the settlement. This unlocks Level 3 for all your facilities.

If you've got 700 units of ethanol handy, I highly recommend upgrading your Workbench to unlock Elite weapons. The Works BP-2 assault rifle is a solid choice – it's got a scope, suppressor, and multiple firing modes, making it super versatile. The Spraypaint and Pray SPAS-12 shotgun is another beast, offering power and a suppressor with a big magazine. For long-range engagements, the Space Force SA-50 sniper rifle is suppressed and upgradeable. And don't forget the Bison Burger M-79 grenade launcher as a handy sidearm.
