Upgrade Prosperity

Speak to Rush to activate the Upgrade Prosperity mission.

The station for upgrading Prosperity is inside the main building.

You need to recruit two Specialists and upgrade at least three of the settlement's eight facilities.

Acquire enough ethanol by taking outposts from the Highwaymen, raiding supply drops, or hijacking fuel tankers.

Spend 150 ethanol to upgrade the Workbench for better weaponry.

Spend 150 ethanol to upgrade the Infirmary to boost your health to 150%.

Spend 75 ethanol to upgrade Expedition to unlock fast travel to liberated outposts and unlock Expeditions.

Completing Expeditions earns valuable resources like titanium and Circuit Boards needed for high-quality weaponry.

If you pursued side missions in Breakout, you should have the required Specialists and ethanol.

If short on ethanol, upgrade the Workbench first (150 ethanol) and then return to Hope County for more if needed.

Consider obtaining the Makeshift 45/70-T stealth assault rifle.

Pursue Grace Armstrong's mission Buzz Kill (detailed in Section 20: Specialists) to obtain her Prototype Saw Launcher.

To make Rank 3 weapons available, you need 500 units of ethanol to upgrade the Workbench.

Earn necessary Circuit Boards by completing Expeditions or slaying Monstrous Animals to craft weapons like the Optimized MS16 scoped, suppressed assault rifle (requires 7 Circuit Boards).

Spend 100 ethanol to upgrade Explosives to enable armor-piercing rounds for the Optimized MS16.

After upgrading Prosperity, Kim will host a celebratory dinner, which is interrupted by the twins.
