Boss Battle: Guard Scorpion

  1. The Guard Scorpion uses "Search Scope" to identify targets, then attacks with "Rifle" or its tail.

  3. After two rounds, the Guard Scorpion will raise its tail into the air.
Tips
  • Combat options include "Attack", "Magic", and "Item".
  • Barret has a long-range weapon, allowing him to attack from the back row without damage reduction and take less melee damage.
  • Cloud does not have a long-range weapon and deals less damage to distant enemies.
  • You can switch rows by selecting "Order" in the menu.
  • Spells count as long-range weapons and deal full damage regardless of row.
  • Switching rows can slow Limit Bar charge, but taking less damage is beneficial.
  • Potions
  • Phoenix Down
  • Restore Materia
