To the Snowy Fields: Walkthrough Disc

Follow our detailed walkthrough for Final Fantasy VII's 'To the Snowy Fields' section, covering Corel Valley Cave and Icicle Inn, including item locations and shop inventory.

Walkthrough:

1. From the house, head north past it and follow a path to the north-east to reach an area with a large, spiky shell.
2. Use a piece of debris as a ramp to go up, then head north-east around the back of the shell spikes onto a ledge to find a chest with a Viper Halberd.
3. Return to the start and jump from spike to spike up the shell. Inside, follow the circular path to the top.
4. Exit the shell and make your way down and around the back into an area to the west.
5. Head north-west to find two vertical fissures. Navigate by climbing up or down fissures and leaping onto ledges.
6. Enter the western-most fissure, climb up, and jump to a ledge. Return to the fissure and climb up to the left ledge to find a chest with a Bolt Armlet (four Materia sockets, two pairs of joined sockets, ignores lightning damage).
7. Return to the fissure, climb down, and jump to the right ledge. Head east to another fissure, climb down to find a chest with a HypnoCrown.
8. Climb the fissure back up, jump out, then jump back in and climb further up to a ledge on the right to get a Megalixir.
9. Reach the ledge to the left by jumping into and immediately out of the fissure. Run west and jump into another fissure, climb up to another ledge, then continue west to a ladder.
10. Climb down the ladder to a ledge with a chunk of Magic Plus Materia. Climb back up the ladder, then keep climbing to reach a ledge with a cave entrance.
11. Loot a chest to the east for a Power Source, then continue north to exit the cave to the world map.
12. Head south-west over the snowy fields to the coastal cliffs, follow them west, then turn north to find the Icicle Inn.
13. In the Icicle Inn, visit the weapon shop. Available items include Organics (12000 Gil), Dragon Claw (10000 Gil), Microlaser (12000 Gil), Adaman Clip (11000 Gil), Hawkeye (12000 Gil), Red M-Phone (11000 Gil), Mast Ax (13000 Gil), Lariat (12000 Gil), Hi-Potion (300 Gil), and Tent (500 Gil).
14. Exit the shop and head to the eastern edge of town. Find a house and enter it.
15. Talk to a man in a snowy, fenced-off area to get permission to grab a map to the Great Glacier.
16. Find the map on a wall outside a small room to obtain the “Glacier Map” Key Item.
17. Loot the small room nearby for a Vaccine and a Hero Drink.
18. Head to the Icicle Inn (north of the house). Go upstairs and grab an X-Potion near a window.
19. Return downstairs and go through a door near the stairs to reach the basement/bar. Talk to everyone to learn about the Great Glacier and an Ancient named “Ifalna”.
20. Exit the Icicle Inn and go to a house near the weapon shop. Head downstairs and grab a Turbo Ether near a bed.
21. Return upstairs and search the electronics along the northern wall to watch videos of Professor Gast and Ifalna, learning about Jenova and the planet's
