Relive Friday's progress in Gran Turismo 2! Conquer the Euro League, dominate the 4WD Challenge on Seattle Circuit, and tackle the FR Challenge with new rides.
Alright, so it's Friday and we're diving into Gran Turismo 2! I finally got some solid playtime in and managed to knock out a few things, though I wish I'd gotten even more done. Let's see what we managed to accomplish.
First things first, I kicked off my quest to beat GT2 by heading straight for the Euro League Races. These were no joke – the computer cars put up a serious fight, but I managed to win them all. As a reward, I snagged some sweet new rides: a Castrol Supra GT '96 (Toyota), a Zexel Skyline GT '97 (Nissan), and a Kure R33 GT '97 (Nissan). I'm currently taking them for a spin to see how they handle.
After conquering the Euro League, which honestly wasn't as tough as I expected, I moved on to the 4WD Challenge. I jumped into the second race, which took place on the Seattle Circuit. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but I eventually took the win and was rewarded with a Nismo 400R Preceding Model. This is a seriously awesome car, and I'm loving it!
Since I picked up a Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M specifically because it's FR drive, I figured it was time to enter the FR Challenge. This race was held on Clubman Stage R5, a track I'm super familiar with, which definitely helped. This one turned out to be easier than I anticipated, and after a couple of attempts, I clinched the victory. My prize? A (Nissan) Sileighty. It's an okay car, and I'm sure I'll get used to it.
That's pretty much it for today's session. I needed to switch gears and play a bit of Grandia, but I'm feeling pretty good about actually making some solid progress in GT2 for a change!
