Walkthrough
- 1Launch the Dog (DB) between the tree, church wall, and fence.
- 2Switch to the Shotgun (SG) and sprint, dodge, and jump through speeders back to the fire escape.
- 3Navigate more speeders, spiders, Antlions (PSs), and a Soldier (PST) blocking the fire escape. Use SG if necessary.
- 4Clear any enemies on the fire escape to reach the 2nd/3rd floor safe room.
- 5Close the Energy Pistol (EP) before climbing the ladder in the safe room.
- 6Prematurely access the tram roof and wait for Grigori's recognition.
- 7Wait for Grigori to send the tram, then drop to the Wkwy railing beside the EP and re-enter the safe room.
- 8Climb the ladder to open the hatch and hold on until the tram nears the station.
- 9Climb onto the flat roof and jump into the tram carriage.
- 10From the tram carriage, jump to the churchyard fence and then to the ground. Resupply.
- 11Hunt for DB between the two fences. Use DB on speeders to keep Grigori alive.
- 12Advance to the Rocket Launcher (RA) for the next kill after using DB.
- 13Stay ahead of Grigori after fence #2, even if it means taking damage from Zombies (Zs).
- 14Grigori will shoot at DB when it's not with you and at Energy Barrels (EBs) when you or DB are near.
- 15Ensure DB survives Grigori's blasts. Stay near the XP end of the graveyard until all EBs are detonated.

- 19Inside the building beside the pit, approach from the left leading corner with FL on.
- 20Drop down through the broken 4x4 frames to the next level, preventing impact damage.
- 21Reach the Wkwy, locate the shack for supplies (SCs and ammo), then exit.
- 22Follow the dark section to busted stairs and locate the fence (XP).
- 23Drop to the ground, sprint to the stairs, climb, and jump over the fence to the ceiling beams.
- 24Follow the beams to another pit and drop into it.
- 25In the water, use FL and swim through the tunnel to the wooden frame. Climb over or swim under it.
- 26Continue swimming until you can rise out of the water.
- 27Locate the chopper tram lever, jump on it, then to the tram.
- 28Walk, run, sprint, or bunny hop (BH) along the tram cable towards the sunny tunnel entrance.
- 29Once outside, bear right and run along the trains; ignore the train car speeder.
- 30When you hear the first sniper shot, begin sprinting.
- 31Weave between the 3 Zs ahead, staying along the right wall for potential protection from sniper#1.
- 32BH and serpentine for the remaining distance; you may take a sniper round.
- 33Once beside the tractor (train engine), keep moving (walking) as the speeder may be following.
- 34As soon as you have a bead or two of suit recharge, sprint past the tractor.
Notes:
- If you spend too much time shooting DB in HL2ud, Grigori may not acknowledge you.
- A new, slightly faster method from the flat roof tram to the churchyard saves about 10 seconds.
- It's not possible to proceed beyond the graveyard XP unless all Zombies, spiders, Antlions, and the 1 Soldier are eliminated.
- Grigori shooting at DB in HL2ud confirms its presence in the churchyard. This is rarely heard in HL2.
- DB may hit an invisible barrier before the XP gate area; the cause is unknown.
