    At the break in the right side railing, you can shoot a barnacle with 10 pistol rounds before proceeding. Alternatively, run the left side railing to avoid the break and any steam.

    Jump the break in the railing to avoid slowing down, or run the left railing to continue sprinting towards a gate.

    Sprint into the shack and pull the tram lever as you enter.

    Run to the left rear of the shack, crouch, and face the window opening.

    Climb the ladder and crouch behind the leftmost barrels for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) from 2 OEBGs roping in from above.

    Scope and creep right, picking off the 2 OEBGs to the right of the barrels with the CB first, then the revolver if you missed.

Tips
  • The OBGs in the previous room vary from 14 to 15. You normally begin this room with 3-5 CB bolts. The ammo in the shack can vary from 5 to 6 bolts. Do not waste bolts; take your time.
  • To access the upper middle Wkwy for ammo dropped by OEBGs, you'll need a minimum of 3 barrels, with 4 making it easier. As you climb the ladder to the barrels, note the recess in the Wkwy where you place the barrels and an Energy Battery (EB) if using 4.
  • When all BGs are cleared, crouch, use the Gravity Gun (GG) on barrel #1, place it in the recess, and push it to the railing.
  • Use the GG on barrel #2, stand, and place it on top of #1.
  • Crouch, use the GG on barrel #3, place it behind #1, and push it into #1.
  • If using 4 barrels, use the GG on the EB, place it behind #3, crouch, and push it into #3. Crouching and pushing helps stabilize the barrels and provides room to make a jump to barrel #2.
  • To jump onto barrel #1 (3 barrels): Stand about 3 feet from barrel #3, then press run/jump/crouch. Stand up, ensure space between you and barrel #1, then run/jump/crouch onto #1. Stand, look down to ensure most of #1 is in front of you, look up, then sprint/jump/crouch onto or over the railing of the middle Wkwy.
  • To jump onto barrel #2 (4 barrels): Follow the same setup as the 3-barrel option with the added EB against barrel #3. Stand against the EB, then press run/jump/crouch to land on the EB. From the EB, run/jump/crouch onto #2. Face the mid Wkwy and have most of #2 in front of you, then sprint/jump/crouch onto or over the railing.
  • Save after each segment of each maneuver until confident. Do not press forward too long before jump/crouch, or you will push barrel #2 off barrel #1. The mid Wkwy railing may disappear while on the Wkwy.
  • There will be 3-5 Pulse Rifle ammo (PR) on the Wkwy. If you hop onto the mid (invisible) Wkwy railing directly above the lower Wkwy railing and drop onto the railing, you will take no damage. If you miss the drop, there are plenty of ammo pickups (MKs) to compensate.
