Norman Jayden races against time to identify the Origami Killer. Learn how to analyze clues, use ARI, and avoid fatal mistakes in this Heavy Rain walkthrough.

Alright, so Norman Jayden's got all the evidence, and now it's crunch time. He's gotta figure out who the Origami Killer is and where Shaun is before the poor kid drowns. Just a heads-up, this chapter has a time limit! If Jayden hangs out in ARI too long, he'll start bleeding, and if you take too long sorting through clues, it can actually kill him. So, no dilly-dallying!

Here's the kicker: no matter what else Jayden's found, the real key is those gas station receipts from the killer's pocket. If you missed the final button prompt during that fight or didn't scan the receipts with ARI, Jayden won't be able to find Shaun. In that situation, your only options are to accuse Lieutenant Blake (which we'll get to) or bail out of ARI before it's too late. He can still make it to the crime scene later if Madison finds the address and calls him, but remember, she can only call one person. If both Ethan and Jayden messed up, one of them will be out for the final chapter.

But if you *did* snag those receipts, you're in good shape! Open up your Clues folder. You'll see a video from when Jayden was fighting the killer. Select 'Analyze,' then play it until the killer is strangling Jayden. Pause it right there and analyze the scene to get a good look at the killer's watch. Back out of the video, and you'll see a new clue pop up, marked with a question mark. This clue makes Lieutenant Blake look pretty suspicious. The game will immediately ask if you want to accuse him.

Warning: Accusing Blake is NOT the way to go. He's not the killer, and doing so will cut the investigation short, making it impossible to find the real culprit. If you're stuck and can't find him anyway, accusing Blake might feel good, but it's not the path to saving Shaun.

So, choose to investigate further. Examine the killer's receipts and then 'geoanalyze' them. This will narrow down the search area, but it's not quite precise enough yet. Now, geoanalyze that question mark clue you found earlier. This will pinpoint the only person in the area who matches the killer's profile. With the killer's identity finally in hand, Jayden will head straight to where Shaun is most likely being held.

Oh, and if Jayden managed to collect all the clues in Chapters 5, 34, and 40, *and* found the killer, you'll snag the 'Nerd' Trophy at the end of this chapter. After this, we'll finally switch over to Ethan's story and find out the truth.
