Find the address in a burned-out apartment.

In the hallway, find a key hidden inside a porcelain lizard on the right side. Break the lizard to get the key.

Use the key to unlock the door at the end of the hall.

Enter the room and touch the video screen.

Within five minutes, Ethan must cut off one of his fingers. You can choose to leave the room or find a tool and begin.

Available tools: knife (kitchen wall), scissors (bathroom sink), axe (next to TV), pliers (TV stand), saw (right of table).

Optional helpful items: iron rod (outside kitchen - heat on stove), wood (upper left corner - bite to calm nerves), whiskey (kitchen drawer - drink to control pain, but more than two blurs vision), disinfectant (bathroom medicine cabinet - clean finger before cutting).

To earn the 'Gold Finger' Trophy, use disinfectant and a heated iron rod with the knife, axe, or pliers.

To earn the 'Butcher' Trophy, use the saw or scissors.

Sit in the chair to begin.

Optional: Calm Ethan's nerves by slowly pressing up and then down. Do this twice for the saw or axe, once for the pliers. Skipping this with the knife or scissors makes controller commands easier.

When prompted, press [Square] to calm nerves one last time.

Hold L1, then R1, and thrust the controller down to cut.

If using the axe or pliers, the job is done.

If using the knife, one more chop is needed.

If using the saw or scissors, shake the controller up-and-down for a few seconds to slice through bone, then thrust down to snap it.

If you heated the iron rod, pick it up and hold Up to cauterize the wound.

After the act, get under the table and punch a hole through the floorboard to collect the next address chip.
