Pinging Enemies and Objectives on the Minimap

Effective communication is crucial, especially when playing with strangers. Pinging locations on the minimap alerts your fellow Helldivers to specific enemies or objectives, preventing players from wandering off and ensuring focus on mission goals. While voice chat is ideal, pinging serves as a vital alternative.

Controls for Pinging and Marking Locations on the PC

To ping a location, face the objective or enemy and press the Q key. This will create a brief ping that lasts for about 6 seconds. To mark a specific area on the minimap, press Tab to open it, hold down the right mouse button while moving the mouse to navigate the map, and then click the left mouse button to place a marker. This marker remains until a new one is placed.
