New Bosses: The Ice Queen, The Ice Dragon

Master the Ice Queen and Ice Dragon boss fights in Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel. Learn their stats, weaknesses, and effective strategies to conquer these icy challenges and claim victory.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Ice Queen: Weak to fire and blunt damage. High resistance to ice and piercing damage.
• The Ice Dragon: Weak to lightning and blunt damage. High resistance to ice and piercing damage.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Ice Queen
   The Ice Queen attacks with frost spells, summons ice shards, and can freeze the player. Her movement is relatively slow but her ranged attacks are dangerous.
2. Phase 2: The Ice Dragon
   The Ice Dragon takes to the air, breathing ice storms and performing dive attacks. It can also summon smaller ice elementals.
3. Phase 3: Combined Assault
   Both bosses remain active, coordinating their attacks. The Ice Queen will attempt to freeze the player while the Dragon bombards from above.

Strategy:

• Prioritize dealing with the Ice Queen first, as her crowd control can make dodging the Dragon's attacks difficult. Use fire-based attacks or weapons to quickly deplete her health.
• When the Ice Dragon appears, focus on dodging its aerial assaults. Lightning-based attacks are most effective against it.
• In the final phase, try to keep both bosses in your field of vision. Use area-of-effect attacks to manage the summoned elementals and focus damage on whichever boss is currently posing the biggest threat.
• Be prepared to dash frequently to avoid area-of-effect ice attacks and freezing status effects.
