Ereshkigal

Defeat Ereshkigal in lightning returns final fantasy xiii using Magic Slash and Overclock. Rewards include Ultimatus and +10 Max ATB.

Garb Setup:

Miqo’te Dress

• Weapon: Morgenstern
• Shield: Chiron/Yale Gauntlet
• Accessories: Silk Scarf/Falcon Charm, Enlister’s Gloves
• Abilities: Counterblow (optional), Mediguard Lv * (locked), Magic Slash Lv * (locked), Aerora Lv 3 (or other ‘ara spell at least Level 3)

This setup focuses on using Magic Slash for damage and Aerora to maintain spell chains for Stagger. ATB recovery is crucial, and Enlister’s Gloves maximize close-range damage.

Splendid Admiral

• Weapon: Chaos’s Revenge
• Shield: Noblesse Veronique
• Accessories: Witch’s Rosary, Thunderbird Bracelet (or other auto element)
• Abilities: Imperil, Guard (locked), Fire, Blizzara (and any other element different from bracelet)

Chaos’s Revenge Quick Stagger is essential for rapidly building Stagger levels. Witch’s Rosary maximizes magic damage, and an Auto-element bracelet exploits Ereshkigal’s elemental weaknesses.

Equilibrium+

• Weapon: Flesh Render
• Shield: Noblesse Veronique
• Accessories: Sparrow Comb, Thorn of Speed
• Abilities: Slow, Deprotect, Attack (locked), Fira

Flesh Render provides slow health regeneration. Sparrow Comb reduces ATB cost, and ATB speed increases from the shield help maintain attacks and airborne status.

Strategy:

1. Run around the edge of the room and attack Ereshkigal from behind to reduce its HP by 25%.
2. Inflict Slow (may require multiple casts).
3. Use Attack to jump into the air and start spamming elemental spells.
4. Quickly switch between garbs to regenerate ATB and stay airborne. Do not use finales, as this will make you vulnerable. Use each spell no more than twice to avoid this.
5. Continue spamming spells to reach the first Stagger quickly. Do not stop attacking and push for a second Stagger.
6. Continue attacking to reach a third Stagger.
7. After the third Stagger, stop attacking and quickly cast Imperil and Deprotect.
8. Switch to Miqo’te Dress and use Magic Slash. Overclock while airborne.
9. Continue Overclocking and spamming Magic Slash during this brief window for maximum damage. You can use 6 EP or the full 8 EP.
