Where: Residences (Warehouse District) What: Find Armand. He hangs out in the Residences, just a bit east of the path leading south to the Arcade. He's usually there every day. What to do: Talk to Armand. He'll start telling you his story. This is the first part of the quest. Why this way: You need to hear his story in sections, so this is the starting point.

Where: Residences (Warehouse District) What: Find Armand again. What to do: Return on a different in-game day and speak to Armand again. He'll continue his story. You need to do this a total of two more times, on separate days, to hear the full tale. Why this way: The quest progresses through multiple conversations over different days.

Where: Old Town What: Locate the closed shop near the Sorcery Shop. You'll see several red boxes inside. What to do: Smash the red boxes in the shop. Inside one of them, you'll find the lost Quill Pen. Why this way: This is the only way to get the Quill Pen Armand is looking for.

Where: Residences (Warehouse District) What: Find Armand. What to do: Give the Quill Pen back to Armand. This will complete the quest. Why this way: This is the final step to turn in the item and finish the quest.
