Complete Voices From The Grave in Lightning Returns: FF XIII

Alright, so you've made it through the main story up to Chapter 1-5 in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Now it's time to dive into some of the side quests, and 'Voices From The Grave' is one of the first ones you'll likely stumble upon in Luxerion City. It's a pretty straightforward one, but you'll need to pay attention to the time of day!

Quest Availability: You can start this quest after completing main story quest 1-5.

Walkthrough

Talk to the Locals: First things first, you need to get the quest rolling. Between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00 (that's 6 AM to 6 PM in-game), you'll need to speak with four specific NPCs in Luxerion City. Look for one officer and three residents. Just chatting with them will trigger the next part of the quest.

Find the Ghosts: Once you've spoken to everyone, the ghosts will start to appear, but only between 00:00 and 04:00 (midnight to 4 AM). You'll need to find three of them. They're not exactly easy to spot, so keep your eyes peeled!
- One ghost is located near North Station.

Another can be found in the Forsaken Graveyard. This particular ghost will also give you the Phantom Rose item, which is needed for the 'A Rose By Any Other Name' quest. So, keep that in mind!

The third ghost hangs out by the Clock Tower.

Quest Complete: After you've heard the story from the last ghost, the 'Voices From The Grave' quest will be completed. Easy peasy!

Tips

Remember to check the time! The NPCs you need to talk to for the initial part are only available during the day (06:00-18:00), and the ghosts only appear at night (00:00-04:00).
The ghosts are pretty faint, so don't get discouraged if you don't see them right away. Just keep looking around the specified areas.
