Behind the Green Door

Use the statue to restore your health and weapons, then return to the previous room.

Use your screw attack to kill the beetles, then use it to break the blocks around the missile tank as you grab it.

Drop to the ground next and head through the door on your right.

Use the screw attack to get through the right side of the floor, then use the save room before returning to the shaft.

Shoot through the right side of the floor and drop down, then use a super missile to get through the green door.

Jump across the series of platforms here while trying to avoid the lava and spawning enemies, then bomb your way through a short tunnel.

Continue right past more platforms and spawning enemies, then enter the door beyond.

Shoot the left side of the ground and drop into the fake lava, then avoid the beetle while you enter the door below.

Head left until you pass a spawning pipe, then kill the enemy on the small platform ahead.

Stand flat on the ground by the spawning pipe to lure an enemy, then quickly run right to the small platform as the enemy flies over you.

Jump straight up and freeze the enemy midway between you and the super missile tank, then jump onto the enemy to reach the super missile tank. Warning: Do not spin jump or your screw attack will kill the enemy.

Now wait for the enemy to thaw, then angle your gun down and left and freeze the enemy once more when it gets into range.

Drop onto the enemy and shoot left to reveal a tunnel, then jump inside and roll left to find a missile tank.

Now work your way back to the nearest save point, then enter the room on your right and work your way to the shaft at the far right end of the map.

Jump up the passage above and use your screw attack on the right wall, then follow the passage and go through the nearby door.

Continue left to the end of this room and use a super missile to get through the door.

Shoot through the walls as you jump left across the lava, then shoot the top of the last wall to find a missile tank.

Grab the tank and continue left, then go through the door to the next room.

Walk left to the wall and roll into a ball, then jump up and set a bomb in the corner.

Now stand up quickly and jump left to get the super missile tank as the blocks disappear.

Work your way back through the door, then head back right to the shaft.

Jump to the ledge above the door and use your screw attack to continue your climb up past the beetle, then enter the door that leads to a red 3x1 room on your map.

Jump across the platforms here while killing the enemies, then grab the missile tank when you reach it.

Now work your way back to the save room by the Brinstar elevator, then ride that elevator up.
