KRAID [11 ITEMS]

Find all 2 Energy Tanks and 9 Missile Tanks in the Kraid area of Metroid: Zero Mission. Includes detailed walkthroughs for each item.

Energy Tanks

1. This energy tank is found in the blue 2x1 room where you bring power to all the ziplines. After powering up the ziplines, activate the switch to bring one over to you, then ride it directly to the energy tank.
2. Once you have the speed booster, this energy tank can be found in the blue 4x1 room off of the Brinstar elevator shaft. Start running to activate your speed booster, then continue across crumbling blocks and jump off the last one to break blocks at the other end. Shoot the switch above you and roll into a ball to grab the energy tank.

Missiles

1. Head to the save room by the elevator, roll to the left wall, and use bombs to enter a tunnel. Roll left into a hidden room, use bombs to continue left through the tunnel, then jump up to the missile tank.
2. This missile tank is located through the red door closest to the top of the Brinstar elevator shaft. Inside the blue 5x1 room, the missiles are in plain view.
3. This missile tank is in the middle of the blue 6x1 shaft in the top right corner of the map. Use the launcher at the bottom of the shaft to launch yourself as high as possible, then hold left before you drop completely. Stay in a ball and drop down the shaft, holding left to land in a small passage. Follow this passage left and right until you reach the missile tank.
4. This missile tank is found off the upper blue 2x1 room on the map, just after defeating the acid worm. After collecting the missiles and health, drop down and use bombs to enter a chamber below. Jump across the platforms to your left, crouch, and shoot up at the corner to break a block. Jump to the opening, pull yourself up, and roll left to a hidden room. Use a bomb to clear blocks and enemies, then jump up to the missile tank.
5. This missile tank is in the lower blue 2x1 room on the map, accessible only after restoring power to the ziplines. Kill the leapers at the bottom of the room, jump up the platforms, and position yourself above the zipline switch. Roll into a ball and place bombs above the switch to activate it and bounce you up to the zipline as a ball. Wait until you are above the missile tank, then press jump to drop onto it.
6. This missile tank is in the small room in the top left corner of the map, reachable from the room to its right by killing the two large leapers. Inside the missile tank room, bomb yourself into the passage and drop onto the missile tank.
7. This missile tank is found in the blue 5x1 hallway at the bottom of the map. Head right and kill the leapers, then jump to the ledge above and roll into a ball. Place a bomb in the middle of the grey blocks to reveal a launcher, then use it to break the blocks above. Head right and repeat this process with two more launchers. Go right a bit more and activate the zipline switch. Bomb the ground under the zipline to reveal another launcher, then use it to launch yourself onto the zipline. Ride the zipline left past enemies to reach the missile tank.
8. This missile tank is in the green 4x1 room off the shaft after beating Kraid. Go left past spawning enemies and jump across platforms to reach the other side of the acid. Crouch and shoot the left wall to find the missile tank, then roll left to acquire it.
9. Return to the room below the Brinstar elevator save room once you have the Gravity Suit. Shoot the blocks high on your left and proceed through the tunnel. Head left and drop into the acid. Shoot the blocks below you to descend, then shoot the blocks on your right. Walk to the left wall and run right as your speed booster activates, then quickly store the charge before hitting the wall. Turn left and use a shoulder charge into the ramp to move that way, then store the charge again on the other side. Roll into a ball and launch yourself right at the ramp, continuing to hold right to roll through the tunnel and blocks to grab the missile tank.
