    From the save room, head right and use a missile on the block below to return to the save room.

    Head left and use a super missile to access the next room.

    Clear the room of birds, leapers, and minor enemies, then proceed through the door at the end.

    If you fall, go through the door at the bottom, defeat the leapers and birds, and head left to the save room. Climb to the top of the shaft, head right past enemies, and reach the Energy Tank.

    To get the Energy Tank: Head slowly left and stop on the fourth block from the right door. Jump left from this position to grab the Energy Tank, then proceed left to the next room.

    In the next room, kill the bird, bomb the wall, back off, and kill the released swarm of enemies. Roll left and bomb the next wall, kill the bird, and proceed left to the shaft.

    MISSILE TANK #02: Jump into the alcove above and shoot the blocks on your right. Run right to the end of the passage. Run back left as your Speed Booster (a power-up that allows for high-speed dashes) activates and store the charge as you break the pair of blocks ahead. Quickly drop to the ground, run left, and fire a shot before performing a spin jump over the gap. Jump slightly before hitting left to start a shoulder charge into the ramp, then run left into the map room. Shoot the left door open and continue running into the next room, breaking through the ground. Drop into the fake lava and shoot the door open, then run through it as your Speed Booster activates. Continue running and store the charge before hitting the left wall. Jump straight up to launch to the ceiling. Grab the ledge on your right as you fall and climb into the tunnel. Roll right and hold right to land in the next tunnel. Drop onto the crumbling block to your right, stand up, and jump before it disappears, gripping the left tunnel as you descend. Jump right from here and roll into the small tunnel. Drop into the next shaft and stand up as you fall to grip the left alcove. Fire a missile at the block on your right and climb into that tunnel. Roll right and prepare for speedy maneuvers. Face right, angle your gun down, leap, and fire shots. Quickly roll into a ball and roll right through the lower tunnel until the ground crumbles. Hold left until you grab the Missile Tank.

    MISSILE TANK #03: Stop holding left when you grab the Missile Tank above to avoid falling. Roll right onto the middle block that crumbles slower. Quickly stand up in the gap above and hold left or right to grab the ledge when the block disappears. You should be hanging from a ledge; press the opposite direction to where you are hanging (e.g., if hanging left, press right). Tap up to aim your gun in that direction, then fire a single missile at the block that your basic shots did not destroy. Note which ledge you are hanging from, then jump the opposite way to grab the ledge above (e.g., if hanging left, jump right). Pull yourself into the tunnel; the blocks below will reappear. Drop onto these blocks and fire one basic shot and three missiles straight up. Jump to the ledge and tunnel above. Wait for the nearby blocks to reappear, then jump to the waiting Missile Tank.

    After obtaining Missile Tank #03, you can fall to the ground floor. Walk to the left wall, run right while shooting open the door. Store the charge in the next room before hitting the right wall, then launch yourself straight up the shaft. Return right to the room just past the map room.

    Continue right past spawning enemies and jump across the lava to grab the Missile Tank ahead.

    Continue right, killing more spawning enemies and jumping across lava. Kill a bird and jump the next lava gap.

    MISSILE TANK #05: Run right as your Speed Booster activates. Start firing ahead to break a pair of blocks, then store the charge before reaching them. Quickly drop to the ground and perform a spinning jump over the gap while shooting the door open and running into the next room.
