Walkthrough:

1. First things first, head back to the room with the statue that restores your health and missiles. Roll into its hands to get topped up, then head back the way you came.
2. Go right until you find a crumbling block above some acid. Fall through it into the acid, then continue right. You'll see some rocks on a flat area. Bomb the space between these rocks to create a hole.
3. Drop down this new hole and crouch. Shoot left a few times to clear away some blocks blocking your path.
4. Now, roll left and jump up. You should see the Energy Tank waiting for you! Grab it, then get out of the acid and head back to the nearest save room.
5. From the save room, head right. You'll pass the spot where you found a missile tank earlier. Keep going right until you find a tunnel in the wall.
6. Roll through this tunnel. You'll see a red stripe on the wall; shoot it to raise a pod. Now, roll into all the parasites that appear, but here's the crucial part: DON'T KILL THEM.
7. Roll back through the pipe you came from, dropping into the acid below. Shoot the blocks in front of you and drop down to a pulsing plant.
