Key Attacks:

• Charge: The Jade Barroth lowers its head and rampages. It aims for your position at the start of the charge. Be aware of potential U-Turns at the end.
• Snow Toss: Shakes its head, throwing snowballs that inflict Snowman status.
• Tail Swipe: Swings its tail clockwise for up to 180 degrees, potentially repeating the attack.
• Head Slam: Slams its head into the ground, throwing snow clumps that inflict Snowman status. Often followed by a hop back and another Head Slam.
• Rock Hurl: Digs its head into the ground and throws a large chunk of snow.

Recommended Strategy:

Focus attacks on the Jade Barroth's legs, as this is an optimal area for most weapons and keeps you away from its head. Be mindful of its shake ability, as being inflicted with Snowman can leave you vulnerable. If you haven't packed Cleansers, this status can lead to being caught in more damaging attacks.

When the Jade Barroth becomes enraged (indicated by steaming head), it gains significant attack and speed boosts. Go on the defensive and make attacks fleeting until it calms down. After a charge, its tail will swing around, so be cautious when moving in for attacks.

The Jade Barroth is more aggressive than its brown counterpart. Pay extra caution to its U-Turn and double Head Slam attacks, which can catch hunters off-guard.
