• Flip Slam: The Nargacuga replaces its head with its tail, slamming it down.
• Wing Pounce: The Nargacuga hops back and launches forward with its wing several times, covering a lot of ground.
• Needle Shot: The Nargacuga aims its tail above its head and shoots a volley of needles straight towards the hunter.
• 360 Sweep: The Nargacuga quickly spins on the spot with its tail outstretched.

Recommended Strategy:

The Nargacuga demands a very similar strategy to the Barioth. Consider it a greater threat at range due to its aimed needle shot, while its tail slam is a significant danger to any hunter attacking its head. Move more than when tackling a Barioth and try to keep the Nargacuga at arm's reach, as its tail can appear quickly if you run straight at it. Take full advantage of the Nargacuga’s downtime between attacks (especially if it gets its tail stuck in the ground from a tail slam) to run close to it and hit it, preferably under its belly. Use Flash Bombs to stun it regularly.
