Moga Village?

Your House: Located behind red and yellow curtains at the base of the stairs. You can save your game by sleeping in the bed. The chest in the top-right corner allows you to organize gear and items, create and save equipment sets, and store materials. You can use items directly from your chest when crafting gear and trading with the Argosy Captain. Press X while in the chest to automatically sort items.

Shopping: There are four key shops in Moga Village. The General Store (west) sells items like combo books, herbs, whetstones, and trap tools. The Weapons and Armour Merchant sells entry-level gear with no materials required. The Blacksmith (northeast) allows you to create new gear using collected materials. The Canteen (right of the Quest counter, unlocked later) provides significant buffs for your next quest when you eat a meal there; it's advisable to visit before each quest.

The Pier: Talk to the cat on the pier to be taken to Tanzin Port, the multiplayer area for monster hunter 3 ultimate.

Village Requests: Speak with 'Junior' in the center of the main area to learn about resources and current 'villager requests'. These tasks can improve Moga Village or unlock new masks for your Shakalaka buddies. It is recommended to accomplish farm and canteen requests immediately for useful extra options and materials.

Poogie the Pig: Visit the farm (east) and 'snuggle' the pig. Press A when an exclamation point appears above its head to befriend it.

Argosy Captain: The Argosy Captain arrives periodically for trading. Simple trade allows you to exchange basic items for less rare ones like fertilizer or Mega Pickaxes. Commodity trade involves exchanging rare items found in Moga Woods for other items of equal value. It's recommended to trade for items that improve your village fleet, the Book of Combos 4, and to let him do a full circuit when he can visit certain areas. Talk to the captain before fighting the Ceadeus for the first time.
