Don't worry, your game hasn't frozen (probably).

After your game hasn't frozen, time for another round of voice authentication. "Analyse", move the stick, you know the drill. You could accept if you want, but why would you?

Either way, it makes no difference. You've been disconnected, basically locked out of everything. But this isn't the end. Click on "Scrape Access Points", and a little box will come up. Hold A on it and you'll see three more. Each one has little numbers next to it. Continue with these boxes until you see "Entry Point Found", and then click on the flashing "Connect". There are a total of three of these to find, but you'll only need one for now. Though, depending on how you play your cards, you may end up using all three.

By the way, it's going to be harder to avoid talking about spoilers from this point forward, so just be aware and try not to read too far ahead.

You'll find yourself in a sphere, in Stas's bunk in the Russian arm. There's a laptop in here with you, containing [Data Point 27]( and [Data Point 43]( and [Data Point 56]( As soon as you grab 27, you should be able to combine Data Points 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 41 and 42 to get [Data Point 77]( Additionally, after grabbing 43 and 56, you can combine [Data Point 71]( from them to gain the ability to do a more controlled, precise charging boost while you're in a connection sphere. We're going to be using that quite a bit for this next part. But while you're here, we now should also have [Data Point 82]( that we can combine using Data Points 41, 42, 43, 55, 56, 64, and 68.

Alright, now that we have the boost, let's put it into practice. While facing the red door, hold the right trigger to charge up the boost, and then release. We're free, but we're not out of the woods yet. This is now a stealth game, asking you to use your knowledge of the station that you've built up over the course of your time here. Our goal right now is to reach SAM's mainframe in UC-02 (the narrow tube-shaped room above the large main central room of UC-01). In case you're caught, I've got a highlighted box below detailing what'll happen and what you can do about it.

Walkthrough:

  1. We're going to start by turning left immediately into the round connecting room (the way that doesn't take us through the rest of module RUS-04), and then further through RUS-05, and then RUS-06. Past Jim's body, there's a large ventilation grate on the wall.
  2. Use your boost to bust it open and climb inside. Boost to open the vent on the other side and you'll find yourself in RUS-03. One way is a dead end, so continue through the open hatch and into RUS-01. You might see Jim float by on the other side. We're going to try to stay out of his line of sight. Follow him at a distance. He'll go through UN-06, and then go through a hatch that he'll shut behind him. Past that hatch is a vent that you can boost open.
  3. Follow this into ULC. The end of this little module that isn't sealed off will be UC-01. As a warning, Jim is inside, occasionally floating around. Try to stay away from his line of sight, floating above him while he's talking, and slip into UC-02.
  4. Once you've successfully made it inside UC-02, hold A to reconnect with yourself. Trigger-click the big red text on the screen to make Jim shit himself.
  5. When prompted, go to your Crew Tracker tab in your main menu and click on Jim's name. Trigger-click his Vital Statistics and his Location, in either order. Then, go back to one of the cameras in UC-01, whichever you can see Jim from as he floats around, and trigger-click on him. After this, switch over to Camera A in RUS-06 "Vostok" and trigger-click on the corpse. After some dialogue, go back to your Crew Tracker and click on Emma's name, then trigger-click her Vital Statistics and Location, again, in either order. You'll be getting an incoming communication, so go to your Communication tab and click on "Incoming" on the left side, then click on "003: Command Withdrawal Protocol" to receive [Data Point 69]( Nice.
  6. Now go to Camera A in UC-02 "Mainframe" and pan to the left until you find the Command Terminal, the lit screen near the base of the tower. Pair with it, and you'll find a puzzle that stumps many a player. While you're here, you can hold X to see the schematic Bill sent you through comms. As always, if you need help, highlight the redacted text below to read it.
If You're Caught

At any point during this, if Jim sees or hears you, he'll shut down the sphere that you're controlling, leaving you to scrape for a new access point.

The second sphere you find your way into will start in CN-02. If you want, this is an excellent way to get a collectible a little earlier than normal. Slide over to CN-03 real quick and you'll see a laptop mounted on the wall, blinking with a low power indicator. There's a power caddy just a little past this. Connect to it and turn it on for [Data Point 25]( Now that you've gotten this, you should have everything you need to combine [Data Point 79]( from 23, 24, 25, 26, 39, and 40.

Now turn and leave the Chinese arm, passing into UN-03. The hatch leading into UC-01 marked "LINK B" will be locked, of course, but continue down through the _really_ dark hallway into UN-04, and you'll find a vent at the end of it. At the end of that will be a short passage to UC-01.

If Jim spots you a second time, you'll have to find yet another access point. This time, the game will take pity on you and plant you directly into UC-01, near where Camera C sits, and Jim will probably be nowhere in sight. UC-02 will be right above you, and you'll be home free.

Tips:

  • HINT 1: Bill told you to run Alpha, Gamma, Delta.
  • HINT 2: On the schematic you can view by holding the X button, you can see Alpha next to D-76.
  • HINT 3: White means you can pass through, black means you can't.
  • Explanation: Let me walk you through it. On the schematic, Alpha corresponds to D-76, so find the block that says D-76 on the
