Collect leather gloves and at least 2-3 cheeses from the witch's house in Draynor Village.

Head north of Falador and go through the member's gate to Taverley.

Talk to the boy standing outside the house near the gate about his lost ball.

Go to the front door of the house, search under the floor mat to find a key, and use it on the front door.

Go upstairs and read the diary in the witch's bedroom to learn about her security system.

Go downstairs, wear your leather gloves, open the gate, and search the cupboard to find a magnet.

Go back upstairs to the room with the door to the backyard.

Drop your cheese on the ground near the backyard door. A mouse will appear.

Use the magnet on the mouse. The mouse will run under the door, unlocking it.

Go outside to the shed where the ball is. The witch will appear at the front door.

Quickly run back inside and into the small room north of the main entrance.

The witch will come out and see you peeking. She will unlock the shed door and mention feeding her monster. If you are not in the room, she will cast a spell, transporting you to the onion field south of Falador.

After the witch leaves, go outside and open the shed door.

Attempt to take the ball. Use any potions you have before doing so. The Shape Shifter will attack you.

Defeat the level 24 Shape Shifter. Do not run away during the fight, as it will become unattackable, forcing you to restart.

After killing the Shape Shifter, take the ball and return it to the boy outside the fence.
