Speak with Edmond, located north of the Paladin Tower in northwest Ardougne.

Travel to McGruber's Woods. To enter, find the eastern wooden fence and push the "fence with loose pantlets" on the northern part.

Explore the woods to find 1 dwellberry. Warning: This area is guarded by level 46 aggressive guard dogs.

Return to Edmond with the dwellberry.

Talk to his wife, Alrena, in the house next to Edmond. Give her the berries.

Speak with Edmond again; he will instruct you to get buckets of water.

Collect 5 buckets of water.

Pour the buckets of water onto the 'dug up soil' in Edmond's yard, one by one.

Retrieve Elena's picture and a spade from Edmond's house. Use the spade on the dug up soil. You will enter the sewer.

Proceed to the end of the sewer and attempt to pull the grill. You will need a rope.

Use the rope on the grill.

Talk to Edmond again. Equip your gasmask and climb through the sewer pipe.

Locate and speak with Jethick. Show him Elena's picture.

Jethick will inform you that Elena is in a house to the north. Go to the Rehnison's house and speak with Ted.

Go upstairs and talk to Milli.

Milli will reveal that Elena was kidnapped and is being held in a building in the southeast corner of West Ardougne.

Go to the building, but the mourners will deny you entry. Inquire about gaining access.

You will be directed to speak with Bravek.

Go to the house with the wall clock and speak with the clerk. Request to speak with Bravek, emphasizing the importance.

Speak with Bravek and learn what the cure is. He will give you a scruffy note containing instructions: get a bucket of milk, grind some chocolate with a pestle and mortar, and add some snape grass.

Grind the chocolate using the pestle and mortar.

Use the ground chocolate on a bucket of milk.

Add the snape grass to the mixture to create the hangover cure.

Return to Bravek with the hangover cure and speak with him. State your intention to rescue a kidnap victim and that the mourners are uncooperative.

Bravek will provide you with a warrant.

Go back to the mourner house. When the mourner at the door denies entry, show him the warrant.

The mourner will alert the head mourner. While he is distracted, sneak into the house.

Go downstairs and speak with Elena.

She will mention a key to the gate hidden nearby. Search the barrel next to the stairs to find a small key.

Use the small key to unlock the gate and speak with Elena.

After a conversation, Elena will advise you to return to her father for your reward.

Return to Edmond via the manhole in the Plague city, climbing the mud wall to reach his house. Your quest is now complete.
