Your go-to guide for the Sea Slug quest in Old School RuneScape! Learn how to start, complete the walkthrough, and claim your rewards. Intermediate quest.

Hey there, adventurer! Ready to dive into the Sea Slug quest? It's the first in its series and takes you to a pretty unique spot, the Fishing Platform. Let's get you through it. ## Details * Where to start: Chat with Caroline. You'll find her east of Ardougne, just north of Witchaven. She's worried about her husband, Kent, and son, Kennith, who have gone missing. * Difficulty: Intermediate * What's it about: Something's up on the Fishing Platform – fishermen are missing, and weird sea creatures are showing up. You need to investigate and find out what's going on before it's too late. * How long: It's a pretty short one. * Requirements: You'll need at least level 30 Firemaking. * Stuff you'll need: * Swamp paste: You can make this by mixing flour with swamp tar and cooking it, or just buy it. A Trader crewmember sells it for 75 coins, Rasolo has it for 60 gp west of the Fishing Guild, or you can grab it from the Khazard General Store for 42 gp. * Some Food: Be prepared to take a bit of damage. You'll get hurt if you mess with a Sea slug, and you'll also take damage trying to climb the ladder to Kennith before you get an Unlit torch from Bailey (after talking to Kent). * Enemies: You won't need to fight anyone for this quest. ## Walkthrough ### The Fishing Platform First things first, head over to Caroline. She's chilling on the coast north of Witchaven, east of Ardougne. She'll tell you about her missing family and ask you to check out the Fishing Platform. She mentions Holgart might be able to ferry you there. Find Holgart and have a chat. He'll mention his ship needs a little TLC. To fix it up, he needs one bit of swamp paste. The easiest way to get this is usually by buying it from the Grand Exchange. If that's not an option, you can try the general store...
