Walkthrough
  1. 1
In Goldenrod City, go to the building east-northeast of the Gym and speak with the woman inside to receive the Squirtbottle.
  2. 2
Head north out of Goldenrod City onto Route 35.
  3. 3
Follow the linear path, battling Trainers. You will find TM04 (Rollout) north of a Trainer at the southern end of the route.
  4. 4
You can proceed to Route 36 or detour into the National Park.
  5. 5
In the National Park, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, you can participate in the Bug Catching Contest.
  6. 6
If you entered the National Park from the south, head northeast and speak with the woman on the east side of a nearby flower bed to receive the Quick Claw.
  7. 7
Continue north along the stony path, battling Trainers in the grass and to the northeast, northwest, and southwest.
  8. 8
Route 36, accessible via grass on Route 35, allows access to Nidorans. In Pokémon Gold, you can find Growlithe; in Pokémon Silver, you find Vulpix. Stantler are also rare here.
