Elevate your game in PUBG: Battlegrounds with our 'Road to Pro' guide. Learn about coaching, scrimmaging, and essential tips to improve your professional play.

This section is about Pro (short for Professional) Playing in PUBG: Battlegrounds. While not a Pro myself, I aim to share useful knowledge about it to make this Guide more complete.

Here, I won't tell you how to become a Pro, but I will share some helpful insights.

COACHING

In addition to the information already present in this Guide (AIM TRAINING, GENERAL TIPS, PRO TIPS, CALLOUTS, and HEALTH CARE), I recommend experimenting with Coaching. This involves hiring a Pro player, typically paying them per hour, to share their expertise and help correct your mistakes. Sessions are usually one hour long. Analyzing replays of relevant matches with your Coach is also highly beneficial. You can find more about Coaching on dedicated platforms. GamerSensei is my top recommendation for Coaching, offering the most PUBG Coaches:

  • GamerSensei — The site with the most PUBG Coaches; I hire here continuously and highly recommend it.
  • Pro Guides — Has only 1 PUBG Coach; more may be added in the future.
  • Playerbase — Does not have PUBG Coaches but is useful for Aim Trainers and Voltaic.

I've had excellent lessons with PistolaTime (former Pro) and Asmodeusz from GamerSensei, learning a great deal from them. I also look forward to more sessions with them.

Scrim Discord Servers are also a viable option for Coaching. I found three additional Coaches there with whom I learned even more. More on Scrims and their Discord Servers can be found below.

SCRIMMING

After gaining some experience, perhaps after a hundred hours or more (some suggest around 1000 hours), you might want to try Scrimmaging, or Scrims for short. These are custom game instances designed to simulate Pro Tournaments, featuring players of a higher caliber than Ranked matches, often including actual Pros, and usually adhering to Pro Tournament rules. A significant advantage is playing on a Team, fostering better synergy with consistent Teammates and elevating your gameplay. Typically, you play 6 Matches per day, and commitment is required; you cannot leave during Scrim Games. If you commit to playing Scrim Games for a day, you must inform the admins in advance if you cannot attend. There are other rules, but it's crucial to read them carefully when it's time for your Scrims.

Here are links to PUBG Scrim Discord Servers, organized by region due to ping considerations:

  • North America Pro Scrimms (NAPS)
  • EU PUBG Scrimms (EUROPE)
  • LA PUBG Scrimms (LATAM)

There are also Discord Servers for Scrimming in ASIA and Oceania, though I don't have direct links. I'm unsure about Middle East and Africa servers.
