It's recommended to combine this with the 'Resource Manager' (no item box uses) and 'Walk it Off' (no medkit uses) trophies, as enemies can often be bypassed, minimizing the need for healing. Steroids do not count as medkits.

To optimize your speedrun, it's advisable to achieve Ending 2 (giving Zoe the cure after defeating mutant Jack Baker) during your first playthrough. This allows you to save Ending 1, which skips a boss fight on the old ship, for your speedrun, thus saving valuable time.
