Upgrading Your Bow

There are several ways to improve your bow's performance:

• Powering Up: As you defeat enemies and complete missions, you'll earn Power. This Power can be used to unlock and upgrade skills in your skill tree, many of which directly benefit your bow's capabilities. Look for skills that increase damage, reduce draw time, or grant special arrow effects.
• Runes: You can equip Runes onto your bow to grant passive bonuses. These Runes are obtained from defeated Warchiefs and their bodyguards, or sometimes found in the environment. • Epic and Legendary Runes: As you progress, you'll encounter Warchiefs with Epic or Legendary traits. Defeating them can reward you with powerful Epic or Legendary Runes that offer significant stat boosts or unique abilities for your bow.
• Story Progression: Certain main story missions will naturally lead to acquiring new bow abilities or significantly upgrading your existing ones. For example, the mission "The Spirit of Mordor" introduces new combat mechanics that can be applied to your bow.

Effective Bow Usage

Here are some tips for maximizing your bow's potential:

• Headshots: Aiming for the head of an enemy deals critical damage and can instantly kill weaker foes. This is especially useful for thinning out large groups before they can close the distance.
• Exploiting Weaknesses: Some Uruk have specific weaknesses, such as a vulnerability to arrows. Targeting these weaknesses can deal massive damage or even stun them, creating an opening for further attacks.
• Stealth Attacks: Use your bow from stealth to eliminate isolated enemies without alerting others. This is a great way to initiate combat on your terms.
• Environmental Hazards: Shoot explosive barrels or other environmental hazards to damage groups of enemies.
• Drawing and Holding: Holding the draw button longer increases the power and range of your shot. However, be mindful of your exposure while drawing.
