Your initial objective will likely involve reaching and activating the first Forge Tower, which is essential for expanding your map knowledge and providing a safe haven for fast travel throughout Udun.

The Udun Foothills are not just a transition zone; they are also home to various Orcs, including lower-ranking grunts and potentially some more dangerous Uruks.
